480-699-5080 Why have a website? If you are a small businessman or woman, the answer is obvious.  You will reach more people than you possibly could in person. You can increase your sales You increase your level of networking What if I am not a business owner?  Why should I have a website? A website is a great way to keep in touch with family members and share information and photographs. A family can share a calendar on a website to schedule family events. How much does a website cost? An economy website will cost you about $60.00 per year for hosting, which means keeping it up 24 hours a day on their computers and about $12.00 for a domain name, which is the name you have given your site.  For example, my domain name is http://www.ajwebmaster.com  An economy site will generally give you 10 gigabytes of space to load your web items on and about 300 gigabytes of transfers as in file downloading/uploading/video viewing.  I use Go Daddy (www.godaddy.com) as a hosting service. So now you are up to about $72.00 and you don’t have a website yet.  This is where I come in.  You tell me what you want and I build the site for you.  The price for the site varies depending on how many pages you want and what the content of the pages is i.e. pictures, text, video, flash animation, etc. For a starting website of three pages, I will charge between $200.00 and $250,00 depending on page content.  After that you have only your yearly hosting and domain fees excluding any other maintenance. What if I want to add more to my site later? I will add additional pages at $100.00 per page and if you just have general maintenance issues or want more pictures or text added, my rate is $25.00 per hour. Why are your prices so much less that other website builders? I am retired.  Building websites is a labor of love for me – not my means of support. If you want more bells and whistles on your website than I feel I can provide, I will let you know right up front.  If you are looking to take on Corporate America, find another service.  I enjoy working for the little guy. Here are some examples of sites I have done recently:  Mark’s Web Page - This is my own site that I have updated this year, 2011, after having it online for 12 years http://www.markhawthorne.net Paws4Life – A nonprofit corporation that trains Service Dogs.           Service Dogs complete extensive training, and are registered            through a State-wide Service Dog registryWww.paws4life.net The Superstition Mountain Republican Club – located in Apache Junction, Arizona.  The website keeps Conservative Republicans up to date on club activities, meeting dates, speakers, and promotes camaraderie.  http://www.ajsmrc.com If you have more questions, give me a call.  I will be glad to answer all that I can.  As I said, building websites is a labour of love for me.  I truly enjoy it.
